If for quite some time you have been feeling good, it is not because your life has become better, it is because you have changed for worse.
We tend to adopt, get used to things, even to the worst of them. In the process, we start accepting them, seeing them as normal or simply ignoring them. Even though they have not changed and they are still as bad as they’ve always been, they don’t bother us anymore.
And that is in no way a thing to be proud with.
